The hotel is personally managed by your host, David, who will make sure you receive a true Scottish welcome and are well looked after during your stay.

Room rates include a hearty highland breakfast and accommodation in one of the clean, comfortable rooms. The hotel is conveniently close to the city centre and guests can leave their car in the free secured car park. A regular bus service runs from the bus stop just outside the hotel to the very heart of the city, just 10 minutes away.

There is a charming lounge featuring interesting bric-a-brac and antiques. After a hard day’s work or a long day spent exploring Edinburgh, you can relax and unwind with a wee dram from the well-stocked bar.

You can now take advantage of the hotel’s complimentary wireless broadband internet access. The broadband is 8 Mbps and there is a computer provided in reception for guests’ use during the daytime and early evening. Also, for those with suitably equipped laptop computers, this service can be accessed in the main lounge, as well as several of the bedrooms.

If you do not have the necessary wireless adaptor, you can still access the internet using either the telephone point in your bedroom or the data port on your room telephone.

Directions

By Air:
The hotel is approximately 12 km from Edinburgh Airport. Taxis are readily available from just outside the airport. The journey from the airport to the hotel should take about 20 to 40 minutes, depending on the traffic.

By Train:
The hotel is approximately 25 minutes’ walk from Edinburgh Waverley railway station and the very heart of the city.

By Bus:
The number 11 bus runs regularly from the centre of the city to the bus stop right outside the hotel. By bus, the journey from the city centre to the hotel should take about 10 minutes.
