Excellent location. We had a junior room and the size was more than adequate for a party of five. Directly opposite the train station, which was a plus when coming back from beaches via train, literally off of the train and into the hotel. Great choice of snack bars surrounding the hotel, and rue Jean Medicin for shopping and trams which take you to Nice Old Town for 1 Euro, just 150 meters from the door. The exterior of the hotel is rustic looking rather than run down and the reception area very modern. It was great sitting on the balcony drinking morning coffee people watching. Would recommend and stay again.
There is a club downstairs which can get noisy during the night, however, we were on the 1st floor and if your like me, a deep sleeper, then you'll be fine. If your a light sleeper I would ask for a room at the back of the hotel, or higher up, which may be quieter

Very noisy, hotel reception had no record of our reservation and we were very lucky they had one room spare. Room facilities very basic, more like a hostel than a hotel.

cosy, decoration is classy, esp the paintings on the walls along the stairs
somewhat noisy. rooms are not sound-proof and some lodgers played music loudly over the night

"Ambiance et accueil excellents dans un hôtel vétuste mais bien situé, à proximité des moyens de transport et du centre-ville" (97643336)
proximité de la gare (malgré le bruit qui en est la contre partie!) et des moyens de transport , situation proche du centre-ville - qualité de l'accueil: amabilité, disponibilité, dimension d'internationalité!le rez-de-chaussée et le petit déjeuner continental font très bonne impression!
sans doute pourriez-vous améliorer le confort matériel des chambres (remplacer les rideaux qui paraissent sales et vétustes, hauteur de la TV, étroitesse du lavabo et douche,vérifier le bon fonctionnement des équipements (éclairage dans la cabine de douche, 1 seule chaise pour une chambre double...des boutons électriques non lumineux dans le couloir,...inaccessibles ou presque dans les WC, le papier hygiénique trop haut... ce ne sont que des points matériels qui peuvent facilement être améliorés!

L'accueil du personnel à été très agréable ainsi que l'accéssibilité et la situation géographique de l'hôtel. Proximité des transports et commerces....
la sonorisation dans la chambre est à revoir.On entend le bruit venant de l'extérieur (voiture, 2roues)et l'absence de toilette dans la chambre est une contrainte.

tres mauvaise insonorisation!!! pas de produits d'hygiène...penser a les prendre pour ne pas etre embeter, tres petites serviettes de bains et pas de seche cheveux!!!! Décoration: du neuf avec du vieux... on aime ou on deteste!

Conveniently near the train station. Fun multi coloured rooms. Price.
Shower had not been cleaned. Outside of the building looks run down while the inside is much better. Management average.
