"Bedroom was excellent but restaurant was very dark and gloomy.Breakfast wasn't wonderful. Very good location ,near restaurants and a lovely view." (99548484)
Bedroom was lovely,all newly decorated and furnished.
We had to climb 4 flights of steep stairs.

"Overall, the room was clean and functional except for the WC. The location was excellent and staff corteous and efficent. I Very happy with the whole setup." (99418627)
The Location is outstanding. The Staff excellent and intelligent.
The Toilet was across the hall but then the room was only €40. There was I may add a shower and sink in the room itself.

"clearer directions to the hotel would have been helpful, but the whole experience was good. It might be advisable to put in the description of the hotel that all the rooms are accessed by stairs and would be unsuitable for unfit or disabled visitors." (99800709)

Room was small, but clean and functional. Bathroom across the hall took some getting used to as it was very small, but clean and private. Right on the Rhein! Staff was courteous and helpful.
Needed clear directions on finding the hotel from the train station as no-one recognized the street address or name of hotel when asked. Eventually got directions from tourist information booth. No A/C, but each room had a big window and fan.

Central location. Laid back atmosphere. Unobtrusive staff. Excellent value for money
Poor breakfast. Rooms a little tired looking. Lots of Stairs!!!!

Very good location both for the underground or for taking a walk in the town center, good breakfast and cute forniture.
The bathroom is too small, I guess 80x200 cm not more... Too much light in the morning.

Central location. Clean room, wide bed, nice views over the river.
Horrible net curtains obscured the view. Ghastly artex plaster on ceilings. Dated wallpaper on walls. Shower in bath was difficult to use because holder did not hold the shower head, and was too low for me (at 1.78m I am not particularly tall). Noise from the tables on promenade below the window in front of the hotel until after 11pm. Although most of the noise came from patrons of adjoining establishments.

"We arrived at cologne station and although the hotel is only a few minutes from the station ,the station is quite large with several exits so choosing the the right way is a bit of a lottery as we didn't have map of cologne, maybe directions for the hotel could include this, we found the hotel by coming out into the main square, going up the steps to the cathedral,turning left by the ludwig? museum then we saw steps down to the river turned right and the hotel was a little way along the front." The location near to the station, cathedral and the fabulous view over the Rhine. he room was clean and had everything we needed.breakfast had a good selection and was served in a room which had a nice character and more views of the river.
