Breakfast was delicious. Amazingly cooked. Staff could not do enough to help!
I felt very safe as a lone female staying by myself.
Check in was really easy. The room was very well equipped and the extra touches, such as tea, coffee, water were lovely.
If the weather had been better, I definitely would have gone to explore the beautiful grounds.

Setting was fantastic being in a former water mill. The owners were very friendly and made us a cup of tea on arrival. Our room was lovely and looked out over the garden and Mill race. Absolutely perfect at the end of a day's walk on the North Downs

The rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable. The staff were friendly on arrival and check out was easy.
The city of Dorking is charming. The people are friendly and the shops are lovely. We ate at the amazing Roosters Kitchen, I highly recommend the pink lady dip. The food was so fresh and tasted amazing. The wait staff were attentive and gave great service. We walked everywhere, but there were buses if you don't feel like walking. All of the roses were in bloom too! We also had a proper Sunday roast chicken meal on Sunday at Stepping Stones. My daughter had the roast beef, both were divine..

Dorking is a delightful historic market town with a variety of shopping and excellent pubs and restaurants. A short distance away are some terrific places to visit, including Box Hill and Polesden Lacey, two National Trust areas that provide awesome hiking and areas to relax and enjoy the surrounding countryside.

The hotel was very cold, including corridors and public areas. There was a fireplace with plenty of wood, but nobody had made a fire, which would have been very welcome!!
The room was extremely cold and the handrail in the bathroom only heated up half way, the other part was stone cold.

We stayed in a country manor house completely surrounded by fields and public pathways. Great location for those who like to explore the countryside. We did not make it into town, but driving through it looked lovely and wish we could have stayed longer to explore more of Dorking. Would go back again.
We had meals in Wotton Hatch Pub, and Abinger Hatch Pub - delicious food and very friendly staff. Both beautiful country pubs and well worth a visit.

Lovely small hotel.
Lovely small hotel. The room was small but perfectly formed with everything we needed, breakfast was lovely and free parking. Even a pool for the brave. The grouds were lovely and very well maintained,
What a great host Thom is! He was already very kind and helpful through the app, but in real live even more. He helped us by calling the train company, because we wanted to visit London and there were strikes.
We stayed in a converted stable, and so we saw a lot of the horses and the other people who took care of the horses, who were all very kind. Especially our teenage girls loved that!
The beds were fine, shower and kitchen were good, everything was taken care of.
Also it is in a beautiful area, where you can make great walks!
The location is quite unusual being situated in a working vineyard and it's far enough from the main road for it not to be noisy. It's great being able to go on walks straight from the hotel and yet be within a short drive from Dorking town. The room was comfortable and well equipped, and the dining area was also a very nice space both during the day and in the evening. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful and accommodating. It was lovely to have a bed, towel and bowls provided for my dog.
The majority of staff were polite professional and friendly. The location was fabulous. The cleanliness and the decor were outsandimg. I would like to say a big thank you to the gardener, the barmaid, the ladies on reception, the breakfast and restaurant staff and the General Manager who recommended the roast cod with mussels.Lastly the receptioinist who kindly organized a taxi into Dorking. The taxi driver was very knowledgeable about the history of the Hotel and the area.
The hosts Richard & Maggie are lovely and warm people, ready to assist when needed. Breakfast was good, and delicious cakes were left daily in the dining room for guests to help themselves whenever they wanted. The house itself is beautifully decorated with shabby chic furnishings. It is ideally located close to the town full of shops, coffee shops, restaurants, and Dorking train station. The area is quiet and peaceful, with sheep grazing in front of the property.
Atmosphere: very relaxing, quietly surrounded by grape trees, sounds of trees and birds, feel like you came to a small vineyard village in France
Location: simply 1 hour away from London
Attraction: interesting and educational tours about winemaking, not just a hotel to eat and sleep
Staff: overall nice, but the guy who takes you winemaking tour is very knowledgeable and friendly. We had fantastic time with him.
It is a modern apartment that needs a bit of attention. The apartment is in a great location with a take away shop and convenience store across the road. There is a lovely park and play area down a walkway next to the building. it is an easy walk to town for anything you need. The train station is not far for transport to London.
Charming and attentive owner, with interesting conversation. Comfortable accommodation and simple, healthy breakfast with great coffee. We didn't have the cooked breakfast. The bathroom was spacious and clean with a lovely shower. Peaceful location and an easy walk into Dorking. We loved the alpacas!
Fantastic location, right in the High Street & walking distance to Dorking Halls. Beautiful refurbished room with all modern touches and luxurious feel. Staff couldn’t be more helpful and genuinely friendly, the best I’ve experienced.

Hotel rooms bathroom was lovely, great water pressure.
Beautiful grounds and such stunning scenery.
Staff very friendly and welcoming.
Lovely building and scenery. The staff was friendly and the bar seating are was perfect for grabbing a quick bite. We had a nice little swim in the spa area with the children so all and all a great hotel.
Crushed avocado with poached eggs excellent.
Full English also excellent.
Coffee v good also orange juice.
Decor and atmosphere of bar area/garden excellent.
