The charming resort was a peaceful retreat with excellent customer service. I appreciated the beautiful Balinese design of our private villa with pool. I love how the resort incorporates the natural surroundings throughout. Waking up every morning to the sounds of nature was a treat. The staff helped us with getting our luggage to our villa which was the furthest located one on the property.

Ubud is a great centralised location to stay to do day trips from. The biggest downfall of Ubud is the traffic. It is always bumper to bumper busy, so when planning activities - take this into account. Also be aware that it is an Instagramers paradise - and you will see hundreds of people looking “beautiful’ taking photos of themself. If you are into ‘being seen’ then this is the place for you. Lots of locations for the perfect “scene or foodie” snap. If you are into seeing more of the natural Bali or participating in adventure activities then this a great place to use as a base for a few days.

Stayed in Ubud for 4 nights (22-May to 26-May 2024).
Stayed in Ubud for 4 nights (22-May to 26-May 2024). Did 1-day Ubud tour and Mt. Batur and Hot Springs. 1-day Ubud tour had attractions like temple for which you need a guide who can give authentic info. Fortunately my driver Ardi was a religious fellow and a devout reader who gave in depth information about not only the temple but Bali culture overall. The others like Tegalalang Rice Terrace, Monkey Forest, Coffee Plantation etc are okay and would not repeat it on the next holiday here. Ubud art market and the other markets I totally stayed away from as I’m not an art person. Mt. Batur sunrise trek is a must do activity and you can add hot springs for fun. Lots of spas, bars and eateries that spoil you for choice. People are extremely friendly. Getting around is easy in a cab or bike (grab/gojek).
It is the best hotel we have ever stayed!!Te villa with private pool is spectacular,no detail is missing. Beautiful!!The attention of all the staff is incredible. The breakfast and the dishes we ordered for dinner were delicious.
It is not in the center of Ubud but the resort has a free transfer very frequently. It is great!!.Agust was our guide, definitely the Best guide we could have. He took us yo the main places of the island and explained everything very well. He is a Crack!!We hope to return to Purana soon!!Thank team Maaaaaadre Miiiia!!
Wow, the beautiful old buildings were amazing. It exceeded our expectations. It is so peaceful with an old-world charm, and the staff are fantastic; it felt like a 5-star resort. The gardens and pool are beautiful, butterflies and birds are everywhere. It is clearly a different experience from modern polished hotels, but that's what makes it so unique.
The location is awesome as well, close to lots of cafes and restaurants and you get to walk through the monkey forest (for free) to get into the centre of Ubud.
We stayed in such a beautiful & spacious villa with private pool, the rate was very cheap due to the pandemic. There were only a few guests, that made us feel like we rented the whole resort. I am amazed by the landscape of the resort, with their own paddy fields, beautiful view, very quite and zen. I can’t stop thanking the staff as well as they were so friendly, always remember our needs and personalised our treatments. Moreover, the spa, massage and body scrub are top notch and luxurious in a standard price!
Beautiful grounds the gardens are immaculate, we stayed in a suite with a private pool which was lovely. The communal pool is stunning & very quiet .
Breakfast is made to order and was excellent everyday & all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We used the hotels free a shuttle into Ubud Centre a few times ( which is about 5-10 mins by car ) and we also got a taxi on a few occasions and the prices were cheap. Would definitely stay again -loved it .
The food quality in the restraunt was excellent, some of the best food I had in Bali (even better than food served at other 5 star resorts). Staff, particuarly staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful and arranged everything that we needed without a fuss. Villa was very nice, large bedroom, beautiful outdoor bath and nice airconditioning, lovely pool and the hotel was fairly close to the main town. Shuttle bus into main town was very good.
We stayed at the private pool villa which was amazing and really beautiful. The service was however unparalleled in every way. We had the option to have a floating breakfast everyday without additional charge. The minibar was complimentary and was restocked everyday. When I was feeling a little ill the staff surprised me with a flower bath. The staff was probably the best thing about this hotel as they were there for us 24/7, whatever we needed!
Slightly off the main hustle of Ubud center, this magical boutique hotel is perfect. The space is beautiful and quiet - rooms were clean and have plenty of room with an outdoor kitchen. Pool is small but again lovely! Biggest highlight was Juna - he was probably the best host I’ve had at any hotel/villa. Helpful, kind and always smiling. Hotel is walkable to town or a quick motorbike ride away. Safe and secure, quaint and special!
The location of the hotel is super. Just a few minutes to Ubud center on foot but in a side road, very quiet. There’re many nice restaurants, cafés, yoga studios and spa. The restaurant of the hotel have delicious food and the price is reasonable. All of the staffs are very friendly and speak English very well. They tried their best to support us to plan and organize our day tour.
We stayed at Village, it was beautiful, impressive, with private pool, two big bedrooms, main bathroom amazing with bathtub outside, plenty of space and all the decoration superb, felt like sleeping inside a Temple. Ubud art is really good!! Extremely recommend this hotel, the service is top.Location is also very convenient, 300m walking distance from central market.
The hotel is extremely beautiful, staff is so kind and they immerse you in Balinese culture, place is worth to stay at least 3 nights. Private villa are the best of the hotel We had floating breakfast, a bit expensive but is a nice experience. Location is really good as well, close to ubud central but far from noise and crowds.
The Villa itself is beautiful and very clean with private pool all to ourself. Kadek took care what we need promptly. We send our laundry everyday and got it back sameday cleaned and pressed and its cheap too. Wayan, her brother being a tour guide can also give good advice. We're happy with their friendly and bubbly attitude.
This was my second stay at Ubud Paradise Villas. It is a beautiful property with private pool and lovely hosts. The breakfasts are delicious and rooms are kept perfectly clean. The hosts are very helpful to arrange drivers for day tours and checked in frequently to make sure everything was going well with our visit.
the hotel is a gem hidden in the heart of Ubud, surrounded by the beautiful rice terraces and the jungle. The villa with private pool facing the jungle are a unique experience, it felt like being in paradise. The staff is super professional and friendly, always ready to assist us. they completed this fantastic stay
Quiet and serene, private dip pool was clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. This was by far one of the best hotels/villas we have stayed at in bali to date. Nice and close to Monkey Forest, easy walking distance to restaurants, tattoo parlours, main shopping yet quiet and you cant tell how close you are.
Very neat and clean villa with a private pool and all facilities for kitchen mineral water and stencil. But there were very few items in bteakfast and you could ordered in your room also.Rooms and bathrooms were awesome.Therapist of hotel was awesome. I took laundry service also which was nice
The staying at the villa was amaising. Very comfortable room with private pool made our hollyday magical.Staff was very helpfull and polite. Also the location in the jungle but not far from the Ubud, very easy to get to the centre by bike or by car.

We have rented the 2 bedroom villa with private pool. The location of the Villa is great, 30 minutes walk to the Sacred Monkey Forest and to the centre of Ubud. Staff is really helpful. Very spacious, private pool was cleaned every day.
Found Hidden gems in the Ubud area! Cheapest prize compared with other hotels/villas in the area.
