Accommodation, breakfast room and cooked breakfast very good as ever. Improved central heating noted.
It's unfortunate that dinner cannot be provided on-site nower-days, which necessitates a 3 mile journey into Laughne each evening.

I loved that I was made to feel at home and that breakfast was delicious. I stayed there because it was in the middle of the two areas I wanted to visit. I was pleasantly surprised at the local town and castle too.

Beautiful place, the castle is stunning with amazing views! The Pubs in the area provide tasty food with good prices, there is a tea room which is very small and busy so I did feel a little uncomfortable.
Dylan Thomas boathouse was beautiful and enjoyed learning about him. It was a great place.

Splendid castle on the foreshore with an interesting history and plenty of other handsome and historic buildings in the town. Dylan Thomas connections were fascinating and our visit has encouraged me to return to reading his work. Fine views of the estuary.

Have to say the breakfast was excellent and the quality of the home made preserves was first class.. Lots of local information enhanced the value of my stay. Plenty of choice in the town for eating. I ate at the three mariners, again loved the experience.
Absolutely nothing to complain about.

This is the second time I've visited Laugharne.
This is the second time I've visited Laugharne. I returned because I love it. We visited Dylan Thomas' boat house and the Castle. We ate in Brown's Hotel most nights but also enjoyed a lovely Thai meal at Poons (on my previous visit to Laugharne I enjoyed the breakfasts at Poons). The meals at Brown's Hotel were excellent and there was nothing that I didn't like on the menu. I would recommend a walk along by the estuary which is flat and has beautiful scenery. St. Davids is a good place to visit and the National Botanical Gardens are worth a visit too. I would be happy to visit again.
Sian is a warm and welcoming host and the house is full of charm and luxurious touches. We enjoyed the friendly breakfast chats with other guests. The food Sian offered was fresh and delicious and she happily went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!
Laugharne is a quiet, peaceful spot but the New Three Mariners pub is fun & friendly if you are looking for a bit of nightlife. Dexters at Brown's Hotel was exceptional - book in advance though.
Fabulous cottage with tasteful modern interior design maintaining a rustic charm. Located in the heart of Laugharne a stone's throw from eateries, local shop and Dylan's famous watering holes The Three Mariners and Brown's Hotel. A short stroll to the waterfront, views axross the estuary and the Boat House.
We loved the log burning stove, huge sofa and TV and comfortable beds! Being able to bring our little dog was a bonus as was the allocated free parking.
Very comfortable b&b with amazing views out to sea.
Great location close to Laugharne which is a pretty village with lovely walks. Also close to other lovely coastal towns - Saundersfoot & Pendine Sands.
The owner Kaye is friendly & helpful. Breakfast was tasty & plentiful.
Highly recommended & we hope to return when the weather is better to really appreciate the wonderful setting. Liz & Michael
Lovely old hotel with a connection to Dylan Thomas. The staff were excellent. The breakfast was probably the best we had ever had and the same for Dexter's restaurant, outstanding. A cheese souffle to die for. Lilith our dog had a delivery of a silver foil handbag full of sausage each morning. She had a bag of gravy bones to go home with. The room was huge and comfortable. Highly recommend.
A fabulous property, full of character. Spacious, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. In centre of Laugharne so great for exploring the town. Welcome gifts on arrival much appreciated. Great Welsh Escapes were helpful and quick to respond to our queries, we would be happy to use them again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Very welcoming staff and service in bar was excellent. Loved watching Wales win the rugby on TV, along with the very friendly locals. Fabulous breakfasts tailored to our dietary requirements. Easy access to rooms with separate entrance from pub. Good location, plenty of parking and short walk into Laugharne centre.
Excellent welcome, shown to room and everything explained.
Comfy Bed,this Hotel is happy to be a bit quirky, but it's very friendly and comfortable..Bar and Restaurant staff were great
Dexter's Restaurant was absolutely delicious. Very meat focused, sorry vegan chums..
Breakfasts also top notch
I have stayed at Browns Hotel before, especially because they are a dog friendly hotel. They are very accommodating to both myself and my little dog. The rooms are comfortable. I ate the bar area because I could take the dog into the bar. The meal was gorgeous and it was a relaxing experience.
A beautiful home with the most spectacular grounds , right in the centre of Laugharne. The house is lovely and homely.
We loved our stay there with the family.
Jac, the host, ensured we had the best stay keeping in touch regularly.
Loved it
Would move in and live there in heartbeat
Lovely property in a beautiful location
Who could not love Laugharne
The team at great Welsh escapes we’re very friendly and helpful
Easily 5 star for me given the location
Beautifully decorated room which all of us approved of, clean and comfortable, friendly bar staff and the restaurant food was excellent for our dinner in fact I'd travel just to eat it again without staying over at the hotel !
The owner was very welcoming and made the accommodation feel very homely. The house is situated about half a mile out of Laugharne, up a quiet country road - so it is a quiet country location.
It was a very nice stay, good location, decor, atmospher, reception, evening waiter/waitress staff and food very good. The room was good, clean, comfortable, breakfast was good.
