Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly, welcoming staff. The food was excellent and value for money. Our room was spacious, the bed huge and it was great to have a sofa to sit on and watch tv rather than the bed.

Located in Hexton, 20 km from Knebworth House, Pine, Country chalet located in Pegsdon provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. The lady who prepared our room went above and beyond. She really took the time to make sure we felt looked after. The pub was closed for an event for a few hours and she even came down to make sure we weren't hungry and offered us to have some food made up especially. I wish I'd asked her name as it's rare to get service like that these days! Beautiful room and location too. We will certainly be staying again!
